Hello, my name is Nikki and I’m new to Rick Stock Law. My role here is Client Service Coordinator. You will find me at the front desk when you first come into our office. I’m responsible for handling the initial intake calls with clients and getting our clients scheduled to meet with our wonderful attorneys and paralegals.
Before starting with Rick Stock Law, I worked at another law firm that prepared me for some of the tasks that I will be doing. Other than working in law firms, my experiences have been retail in nature (I still have my retail job on the weekend because I enjoy it so much). One of my personal goals in life was to run my own business, much like many of our clients. I had the benefit of running my own consignment shop, called Sophie’s Choice Consignment and Boutique, in Douglassville for several years before starting in the legal world. I named it after my cat, Sophia, who had recently past. While I was fortunate to meet some wonderful people along the way, I realized that running a business is hard and that there is a lot of things that people don’t’ know about running a business. I’m hoping that I can share some of the things I learned in my next blog for those of you who want to run your own business at some point in your life. I would love to share the many great life lessons, successes and failures I had to learn very quickly what it was to become a business owner. Owning a business isn’t for everyone, that’s for sure. In the short time I have been a part of Rick Stock Law, I’ve learned a lot already about running a business and why lawyers play such an important part in the success of a small business.
I am very happy to be a part of the Rick Stock Law family. Speaking as someone with very little legal experience, I am aware how scary it can be to feel when you aren’t sure if you need to hire a lawyer. I’m here to personally tell you that the attorneys at Rick Stock Law go out of their way to help just about everyone with their legal issues and are willing to take the time it takes to help someone with any legal problems that arise.
